I have noted that several of my subtumblrs receive submissions that are commercials or ads. The vendors are wanting me to advertise their service or product to my targeted audiance. I have tried doing so at no charge but it is a nusiance, and feels unjust. (both to myself and to my audiance)
On the otherhand charging them changes the nature of blogging for me and those who follow. I find myself wishing there were a third alternative. A way to exchange value in a non-monetary way. Thoughts, ideas? I am going to continue with some writing on that third idea on my social capital channel whuffie.tumblr. You are invited to follow along.
