Follow/Tags
I would like to be able to follow a tumblr but only by tags. In otherwords I would only feed into my dashboard the content I chose. Wouldn’t that be sweet? For instance; one tumblr has an occasional post about scotch (which I LOVE.) I don’t care about any of the other posts. So let me subscribe to just the tag.

Reblogging
I want to be able to reblog my own posts. That way you can repeat things from long ago, and you can reblog into different channels.
That would be a useful feature.
I don’t think it exists. If there is a master XML feed of all Tumblr posts somewhere, you could filter it with “—” and “reblogged” to get a pretty good start on a list but it would make sense for David to add a most reblogged (“Most popular”) feed display somewhere.
Where can I find the most reblogged stuff?
What Tumblr blogs have the most popular stuff? Is there a blog keeping track specifically of mega-reblogged posts?
I ask because I plan to rape the entire Tumblr ecosystem as a source for some “what’s popular on the Internet today” blogging at Gawker.
Follow
So I find myself going to other peoples tumblr blogs, and then realize there is nothing new because I follow them. (shakes head ashamedly)

Suh-wheat. Thank you. (BTW: That bacon wrapped asparagus looks awesome.)
When you post, in the “Advanced Options” there is a “Post this to:” option. You can select from your tumblelog and any channel you have access to. This also works in the bookmarklet.
cool.
Query RodMitch: How do you reblog into a channel? OT: “ About 40 percent of English-language bloggers said their primary goal was “to raise visibility as an authority in my field.” Only 5 percent of Japanese bloggers said that was their primary motivation. Instead, they said they blog to create a record of their thoughts and of information they have collected.” Japan’s Bloggers: Humble...
Using Reblog as Chat
Anyone seen this? Someone make s a post, another tumblr reblogs it and ads a comment. Anyone want to try it? subject: hulu.com.
Reblogging
A couple thoughts I would like to share and I would like to hear yours- • When you reblog, I would like the ability to delete the photo. In other words full control of the post. • Instead of a dash and the original blog I would like it to say “reblogged from” or at least via. I guess I can write it in myself. Maybe the dash is simpler and cooler, I am just being a stick in the mud. •...

Ben Gold isn’t happy about the color change. Not much meaning to me. (Ben get’s cred with me because he has a puffy coat, even if he is self conscious about it.) I spent a butt load (Idaho term?) of hours looking through all the Follow OnTumblrs. I came away with very little. This site stood out. I like the viral concept of reblogging FollowOnTumblr posts, but they all seem like the...
I was wondering why they changed the color myself. It doesn’t bother me too much, but I definitely liked the old color. Anyone know the reason why they did it?
Enough change already
Is anyone else irritated by the ugly new blue background on the Dashboard?
